Flo Ho Ho Gift Guide x Bunulu

The holiday season has begun and I’m knee deep in festive fun! I’ve already had a year’s worth of calories of Peppermint Mocha’s and watched a minimum of 10 Christmas movies. In my pursuit of elf-hood, I’ve already completed my Christmas shopping to bring you a gift guide!

Bunulu is my jam! It is an active coastal lifestyle store in The Gardens Mall, with two other locations in Jacksonville and Estero. It totes the mantra “Land. Water. Style.” Speaking straight to my soul. Carrying both men and women’s luxe beach apparel along with novelties, it’s a one stop shop for your holiday haul. Most Big Box stores only carry sweaters, corduroy and flannel in December. Bunulu is geared toward a Florida lifestyle, so my family can actually use their gifts for longer than a 2 day cold snap.

Here’s what is in Santa’s Beach Wagon:

KOPARI MULTITASKING KIT, $40

For my madre, I got her the mother of all multitaskers. In a coconut shell, the baseline of every Kopari product is organic coconut oil, from what I hear can do everything for you except your laundry. My mom the original beach babe, so she will love this skincare line. Kopari is cruelty free, non GMO, and sustainably sourced. This kit contains the Coconut Melt, Coconut Sheer Oil, Coconut Balm and what may not make it to my mom, Coconut Body Glow.

SLOWTIDE WASHOUT TOWEL, $39.95

The last 10 Christmases I have given my dad a Guy Harvey Shirt. I switched it up this year, and got the old man a Slowtide cotton velour towel. Being a boaters our whole life, towels are practical for anyone in the fam. This isn’t any old rag, but dons the photography of John Hook and has room for a hook, with a hanging loop attached.

GYPSET CO PINK GEODE CUFF, $40

For my sister, my kindred BoHo soul, I scored her this beautiful bracelet. We had recently gone mountain meandering. When I saw this Gypset Co cuff, it brought memories of gem stone mining with her two sons in NC. I always get her bracelets since we share a passion for arm candy, the problem is I always want to keep her gift!

VISSLA MIDNIGHT PALMS BOARDSHORT, $59.95

For my favorite beach buddy, my boyfriend, I snatched up these boardies. My dude loves luxe wear, while I’m always trying to force my hippie agenda on him. With Vissla, he can have the best of both worlds since these are quality made of upcycled coconut fiber. Vissla has made a sexy marketing video explaining Cocotex fabric. I can’t wait to splash with him in his new Vissla coconut threads.

LUCY & CO. BRITNEY BANDANA, $20

I was not anticipating finding a present for my pooch at Bunulu. I passed this Flamingo scarf, and had to get it for my pit puppy, Hazel Bay. Lucy & Co creates designs for doggos, and gives donates to animal charities. This will make her rescue heart happy, and she is going to be the talk {or bark rather} of town in it!

UPCYCLED BUNULU BAG GIFT WRAP

I prefer to upcycle gift wrap and am always hoarding ribbons, bows and scraps at every holiday. The Bunulu shopping bag is adorable, so I wanted upcycle it to make wrapping paper. I even cut off the orange bag handles and refashioned into a beautiful Christmas bow! I found some surfboard accent gift wrap by Deconstruction Book that created a sunny aesthetic for my Florida Christmas gifts. As you’re holiday shopping, before ditching your shopping bags, think about creating your own custom gift wrap. It’s a great gift for Mother Nature.

Happy holidays and shop on, my friends!
